Jamie Salmon

Jamie Salmon is a British sculptor. His main focus is on extremely realistic sculptures of people both in full figure and in portrait. He is self taught and started his work in the movie industries creating props and effects for the sets. He uses a variety of material in his sculptures. He is currently working in Canada.
I personally have a great love of portraiture. I find it very impressive and astounding to be able to render the human face and figure realistically. I find it even more impressive when someone can do it in sculpture, because to me that seems harder.















Most of his work is kind of the same, they're all figures that are done hyper-realistically. I do want to call attention to the amazing detail that is put into these. There is expression and emotion in all of these figures. There are wrinkles, hair, color, piercings, and even through most of these aren't full figures they are pretty dang awesome as half a person.
